Club Championships 2022

The 2022 club championships will be played in October and November this year.
Club Championships are proudly sponsored by Village Motors (Marlene Newcombe) and Ausloans.
Qualifying for the Men’s Championships will be played on Saturday October 15 and Saturday 22 October.
Tee times will run from 05:30am until 12:30pm on both days. The Dolphins do not have a block tee time on these days, all members will need to book their tee time by either attending the Friday night draw or on line when the time sheet is available.
The top 16 players in each grade will qualify for the Match Play finals.
A Grade: GA Handicap of 4.4 or less at commencement of qualifying.
A Reserve: GA Handicap of 4.5 – 10.3 at commencement of qualifying, if a players score in A Reserve qualifies them for A Grade they will progress to the A Grade final. A Reserve is not an honour board event this year as it is a trial.
B Grade: GA Handicap of 10.4-17.2 at commencement of qualifying.
C Grade: GA Handicap 17.3 and above
The Finals will be played on 4 consecutive Sundays commencing on Sunday 30 October 2022 and culminating in the final for Men’s and Women’s champions on Sunday 20 November 2022.
Sunday competition for the 30 October 2022, Sunday 6 November 2022 and Sunday 13 November will commence at 11:30am and run until 1:30 pm.
The Management Committee has decided that there will be no club competition on Sunday 20 November 2022, club championship matches will commence at 8 am on this day. The course will open for play from 1:30 pm after each of the 36 hole match play games has commenced their 19th hole.
There will be a BBQ at the halfway house on the Final Day (Sunday 20 November) and a presentation dinner in the clubhouse after the completion of all matches. Further details to be provided to members.
The Management Committee thanks members for their understanding of the club not holding a Sunday Competition on the day of the club championship final we encourage all members to come out and support those members that are playing in the finals as it is sure to be a great day of golf.
